The Joys of the Reuzit Shop

Who doesn't love thrift stores and reuzit shops?! I love to shop, but bargain shopping is even better. Today I went to two thrift stores, nothing at the first one, but I made out at the second! I got three skirts and three books for less than $10! I'll post pictures of my treasures as soon as I get my new camera. My parents are getting me a new one for my birthday on November 7. :)

God really laid it on my heart recently to try wearing skirts only. This was not an easy decision to make, but I feel Him saying, "Try it. What's the worst that could happen? You'll only feel closer to me." He was right, I feel closer to Him than ever before! I'm not sure if this is something all Christian women should be practicing, but I think this is God's will for me. I would really appreciate it if you would all pray that I will have the courage to keep this up. I wore skirts all this week to class and that took alot of courage and strength. It's difficult to go to a secular college and do something as bold as this. By wearing only modest skirts, I stand out and I'm not very comfortable with having people look at me and wonder why I only wear skirts. I know I'm not supposed to conform to the world, but it's hard to stand out when I just want to blend in. As I draw closer to Christ, the evil one tries even harder to pull me down. Pray that I will stay strong and continue this new life choice if it's God's will for me.

This decision is what led me to the Reuzit Shop today...
I have a few skirts, but I was in search of some more casual, everyday skirts, specifically a long denim skirt and a long corduroy skirt. I was unable to find either of them in my size...
But I found 3 other great skirts!

Where do you skirt only ladies find your modest skirts? Do you buy them new, used, or make your own?

You Sweet Girl~
I have wore skirts all my life! I tell you that you are on the right tract. Thrift store are great. Most people buy them for special occasions and then never wear them. I also check Goodwill, Salvation Army, DAV and Walmart. Each time I hit Walmart I check! I also do well at Cato ~on the discount rack. The key is to check often!
Bless your decision~I am proud of you! I am going to pray God will let you find just what you need! You know ~He does that!
Love & Prayers~
